English is the international language that is often used by people who want to communicate across borders, but sometimes people rarely use English to communicate. English according to them is something that is hard and scary to be studied, whereas English has several advantages.
Why English is a frightening specter, what obstacle in learning English, I will discuss in my article this time. Communication and language issues in the academic world often becomes a source of problems. Why become a problem? I use a simple logic. When studying the language of instruction and books in Indonesia alone, although I really listen to each lecture, take notes and summaries, and understand the books read. Indonesian with the energy and it takes a strong understanding and often have to read the books and records over and over, now when I have to wrestle with tuition and books in English, of course it takes energy and effort is doubled.
A more concrete example, when creating paper based journals speak Indonesian and Indonesian-language book, it takes several days to complete. Now, the situation is different, the books and journals that are read in English. As a result, the constraints appear in the dynamics of college student life. The constraints that often arises is:
1. The absence of a strong intention to learn English
2. Learning English is considered boring, because the Indonesian people are quite satisfied with their language without the need to learn English
3. English language only as a supplement are included in school curricula, so that concern the younger generation of English language lessons are still minimal, unless they go to a school of international standards
4. English lessons about student interests and get the younger generation, because it is not interested in the knowledge that supports learning English
5. The tool aids English language is still very minimal, not like people who are studying abroad over the lab, while the average of Indonesia almost learned to follow the book or text book

I hope in every English curriculum, in order to encourage public interest to participate actively and make English as the medium that makes it easy to communicate, it would require some support:

1. Entered into an international-based curriculum, thus encouraging an active interest in the younger generation to learn English
2. Had it takes some of the supporting tools to encourage young people to participate actively speak English, such as voice recorders, and other facilities that make it easier for the younger generation can learn English and liked it
3.Way of teaching should be replaced with the variations that are not boring
4. Familiarize yourself with the English Day, because it will make us get used to using English in everyday life
Hopefully I can add to the reader to enter the growing intent of the importance of English language, especially to get into the business world, English is necessary and sufficient quality and are very supportive and we broaden internationally, especially in the business world
